AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL

  • While at Johnson and Wolverton, I worked on Amnesty International’s youth account, developing communication materials aimed at college students. Our team produced Say Magazine, which pushed creative boundaries through expressive layouts and bold two-color print techniques. The design approach emphasized visual storytelling that resonated with a younger audience and connected them more directly with Amnesty’s mission.

    • Explored new imaging and print techniques using provided photography

    • Designed specific issues of Say Magazine

    • Developed a postcard-writing campaign targeting leaders in Nigeria and Kenya

    • Managed press checks to ensure quality execution

  • The campaign introduced Amnesty International to a new generation of college students in a way that felt fresh, urgent, and accessible. By combining bold design choices with clear calls to action, the work helped amplify critical human rights messages and inspired young audiences to engage in global activism.
