MAUPIN LIBRARY DONOR WALL
-
The Maupin Library donor wall honors the many people and groups who made the new library possible. I presented multiple concepts to the committee, drawing inspiration from the building’s architecture, the surrounding high desert landscape, and the Deschutes River at the heart of the town’s culture. The chosen design reflected this natural beauty through its colors, materials, and layered forms, paired with a poem from a local writer. The result was a piece the community embraced wholeheartedly—one that celebrates both generosity and place.

The donor wall became a centerpiece of the atrium leading into the new library. It blends well with the architecture, materials and surrounding colors, and has been warmly embraced by the people of Maupin.
